EcoStruxure System Overview
The EcoStruxture System Overview unlocks building value and unleashes productivity. It is the next generation of EcoStruxure Building from Schneider Electric (SE). This Open Innovation Platform of Buildings is a collaborative Internet of Things (IoT) solution that features a scalable, secure and global architecture to create future-ready smart buildings.

EcoStruxure Building Operation seamlessly facilitates the secure exchange of data from both Schneider Electric and third-party energy, lighting, HVAC, fire safety, security, and workplace management systems while leveraging digitization and big data.
Our IP-enabled software (and hardware) address the entire building ecosystem with easy integration of devices, other building systems, and cloud services, delivering the performance and data-throughput needed for small buildings to large, complex multi-site enterprises.

At the core of an EcoStruxure BMS is a SmartX server, such as the SmartX AS-P server. The SmartX AS-P server performs key functionality, such as control logic, trend logging, and alarm supervision, and supports communication and connectivity to the I/O and field buses. The distributed intelligence of the EcoStruxure BMS ensures fault tolerance in the system and provides a fully featured user interface through WorkStation and WebStation.

The Automation Server includes support for a broad spectrum of I/O modules that can be combined to meet the unique requirements of each installation. An Automation Server can have a maximum of 32 modules, including one Automation Server and a mixture of Power Supply modules and I/O modules.

- SmartX AS-B Server
At the core of an EcoStruxure BMS is a SmartX server, such as the SmartX AS-B server. The SmartX AS-B server performs key functionality, such as control logic, trend logging, and alarm supervision, provides built-in I/O, and supports communication and connectivity to the field buses. The distributed intelligence of the EcoStruxure BMS ensures fault tolerance in the system and provides a fully featured user interface through WorkStation and WebStation.

- MP-C SmartX IP Controller
SmartX IP Controller – MP-C is a multi-purpose, fully programmable, IP based field controller. The MP-C models offer a flexible mix of I/O point types that suit a wide range of HVAC applications. MP-C can either be used as a standalone BACnet/IP field controller or as part of an EcoStruxure BMS with a SmartX AS-P or ASB server or an Enterprise Server as the parent server. The MP-C models support an optional display that provides insight and control of the inputs and outputs.

- RP-C SmartX IP Controller
SmartX IP Controller – RP-C is a room-purpose, fully programmable, IP based field controller that suits a wide range of HVAC applications. The RP-C can either be used as a standalone BACnet/IP field controller or as part of an EcoStruxure BMS with a SmartX AS-P or AS-B server or an Enterprise Server as the parent server. The RP-C features a wireless chip that allows the mobile commissioning application to connect directly to the controller.

The TAC I/A Series™ MicroNet™ BACnet™ VAV (Variable Air Volume) Controllers are interoperable controllers with native BACnet MS/TP communications support. All models incorporate: an integral actuator with manual override; an integral, patented, pressure transducer; three universal inputs; Sensor Link (S-Link) support; LED status indication; and over-the-shaft damper mounting.
